Le Clos Castel has four bedrooms, designed and finished to high-end hotel standards. Our characterful rooms are a mix of top quality modern beds and bedding whilst many of the furnishings retain the charm of older Normandy.
Three of our Superking (180 x 200 cm) beds zip-and-link and can be prepared as twins to suit your needs (Sword, Utah and Gold). Omaha is our only 140 x 190cm double. Utah’s private bathroom is outside of the room, but is not shared, all other rooms are en-suite.
Our guests can relax and enjoy their own lounge complete with french and english TV, Xbox and a comprehensive collection of games and DVDs. All rooms are provided with complimentary coffee and tea making facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Le Clos Castel is situated in an idyllic spot in the Normandy countryside. The farmhouse sits in over 5 acres of pasture given over to its own Camping a la ferme (6 gravelled electric pitches). The pitches are flat and level, spacious and the site retains a quiet relaxed feel throughout the season due to its size.
Facilities across the site have been upgraded for 2024 with a recreation room, la boule court, pic-nic seating area, new toilet disposal point / water station and refurbished showers.
If you are looking for a tranquil holiday surrounded by nature then look no further. Set in the Marais de Contentin regional park walking, cycling and bird watching are all within easy reach. With almost no light pollution in the area watching the sunset and star gazing in the clear night skies above is a joy.
Please be aware that you are in the countryside; there are no shops, restaurants or bars within walking distance although the nearby towns of Periers and Carentan are within a few minutes drive.
Grassed Camping Pitch - Non-Electric
from overnighters, short stays through to longer family holidays, campers are welcome to enjoy our 5 acre level site.
For those that enjoy the natural feel. Our campers can expect to see a good deal of wildlife; Owls (Tawny and Screech), Deer and Hare have been just some of our regular visitors during 2023, just be careful not to scare them away!
Our grassed camping pitches (non-electric) are set back away from the road and will never feel cramped with just 4 pitches made available.
All of our guests are welcome to share the 120 sqm recreation room with Xbox, pool table (at a cost of 1 euro) and soft mats for the smallest guests to play on (the rec room can be a life-saver on a rainy day!).
